Arena Breakout: Infinite armor: non-penetration does not mean no damage

Arena Breakout: Infinite distinguishes penetrating hits from non-penetration and ricochets. Its publisher also documents damage when armor is not penetrated. A protected hit and a damage-free hit are not the same claim.

Identify what the hit information tells you

The publisher documents separate indicators for non-penetration or ricochet and for penetrated/reduced damage or a direct body hit. Read the current interface legend with the event you are inspecting. Do not infer a precise ammunition class from a color alone.

Separate penetration from the damage result

The same notes describe increasing damage when helmets, masks or armor are not penetrated. That establishes why remaining protection does not guarantee zero health loss. It does not establish a universal damage amount for every round, armor piece and hit location.

Collect a useful comparison

Illustrative review: after an unexpected fight, record the PC build, protection worn, hit location and whatever combat information is actually available. Compare one situation at a time. A mobile ammo chart or a different patch cannot by itself prove that this PC result was impossible.

Quick answers

Does armor make every blocked hit harmless?

The publisher documents damage on non-penetrating hits.

Is this a current ammo tier list?

No. It explains a distinction; current numerical builds need current PC data.
