Space Marine 2 executions: white contested health is not all missing health

In Space Marine 2’s ordinary contested-health interaction, white health is the recoverable portion. An execution can recover that portion; it is not a general promise to refill every piece of missing health. Look at the white segment before committing to an execution for healing.

Reviewed 2026-10-15 · PvE Operations baseline; class perks, difficulty modifiers and patches can change recovery behavior

Read the health bar before the action

First-hand player discussions distinguish recovering existing white health from granting new white health after old damage. Check which situation you are in. If there is no recoverable segment, a generic execution-heals-everything expectation is the wrong baseline.

Identify any extra perk in the demonstration

A class ability or perk can change the recovery opportunity. The cited player discussion specifically distinguishes a Bulwark setup using a contested-health perk. When copying a demonstration, record the relevant perk rather than assuming any banner produces the same result.

Record unexpected behavior precisely

Illustrative diagnosis: note the white segment immediately before the execution, the selected perks and the game version. If the expected recovery still fails, submit those details with a recording. Public 2026 reports describe recovery problems, but a report alone does not prove every current match has the same defect.

Quick answers

Does this promise a full heal on every execution?

No. The baseline distinction is the recoverable white segment.

Does one bug report prove the mechanic never works?

No. Treat reports as diagnostic leads, not universal results.

The baseline was reviewed against first-hand Steam player discussion. A later Focus community report is identified as a report, not developer confirmation. No current Operations session was tested.
